Allgemeine Hinweise

  • Hier aufgeführt werden Angaben aus Standardverträgen bzw. Standardpolicies der Verlage, die frei recherchierbar sind. Wir übernehmen für diese Angaben jedoch keine Gewähr und empfehlen grundsätzlich ein nochmaliges Prüfen der Verlagsverträge in Bezug auf die Copyrights.
  • Für den Fall, dass Sie mit dem Verlag abweichende Vereinbarungen getroffen haben, prüfen Sie bitte die genauen Bestimmungen Ihres Verlagsvertrages. Um eine andere Version nutzen zu können, eine Verkürzung der Embargofrist zu verhandeln o. Ä. müssen Sie die Genehmigung direkt beim Verlag einholen. Die meisten Verlage arbeiten für die Lizenzvergabe mit dem RightsLink Service des Copyright Clearance Center zusammen.

  • Prior publication regulation: Viele wissenschaftlichen Verlage nehmen Artikel, die bereits als Teil einer Doktorarbeit online publiziert wurden, dennoch zur Publikation an. Online publizierte Dissertationen gelten bei vielen Verlagen ähnlich wie Preprints nicht als "Publikation" im Sinne ihrer "Prior Publication Policy".
