To create a user account, click on "Login using credentials" on the welcome page and next on "Create account" in the new window. 

Alternatively, you can click on the icon with the head in the top right-hand corner of the catalogue. From here you also get to a window where you can click on "Create account". 

To create a user account, you must fill in the mandatory fields, accept the terms and conditions and  click on "Create". You will then see After this, a confirmation that an email has been sent to your email account you for verification is shown. 

Now check Check your email account , open the email with the sender e-pics-alvaneu12ba@library.ethz.ch or e-pics-alvaneu12@library.ethz.ch. Validate and validate your email address by clicking on the button "Validate" or by clicking on the link at the bottom or by typing it into the internet. the  blue link.

You will receive the following message, as shown in the image on the right. Click on "Back to Start".

You can now log in with your email address and password by clicking on "Login Log in using credentials". 

Be awareNote: Only your email address can be used as "user name"! 

In the next step, enter your email address. Again, please note that the username must always be your email address. Then click on "Send". 

A window will appear confirming that an email has been sent to you for the next steps. 

Please check your inbox and also the SPAM folder for an email with the sender e-pics-alvaneu12ba@library.ethz.ch.The . The email contains a button (blue) to reset the password. Alternatively, you can click on the link at the bottom or enter it into a browserblue link. 

You will be taken back to the E-Pics site and must enter the new password twice. Then click Click on "Send". 

A message appears that your new password has been reset. Now click on "Back to Start". 

You will be taken back to the welcome page, where you can log in as usual by clicking on "Login using credentials".
